Introduction to Dyslexia and Related Learning Differences.
This course will provide educators with an introduction to the cognitive profile of dyslexia and other language-based learning differences such as auditory processing disorder, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Participants will come away with an understanding of the brain science of language-based learning differences, the processing differences in the brain that contribute to dyslexia, and some general suggestions for best teaching practices for students with dyslexia.
